Karen Misseldine holds a Master of Arts Degree in Art Therapy from Vermont College and has been practicing Art Therapy for 17 years. She has worked with people of all ages with the past 11 years developing and implementing creative and expressive arts programs for individuals in long term care. Karen is also a professional potter who is on the North East Iowa Artist’s Studio Tour, the Bluff Country Art Tour and ArtHaus Art Fairs.
We are all born as creative beings. In this workshop, Karen will share ways to produce orginal and vivid art images to release the imagination and authentic self, even if you do not consider yourself artistic. When we invite creativity back into our lives we offer care and love to ourselves and the world around us.
